What a GREAT place! We have been to the Florresville ranch a few times and loved it, but this was our first hunt in Junction. This ranch is gorgeous! The lodging is very nice with separate rooms, we slept 3 to a room, and a large gathering area with tv, a full kitchen and dining area. All hunting setups were great with easy shooting and comfort. He has some new chairs for the box stands that make sitting easy. We saw some very, very nice axis bucks both hard horned and in velvet. Lots of nice audad, and more whitetail than you can imagine. Funny his young wt bucks that he is letting age are bigger than any wt I have seen up here in North East Texas. Six of us were on this hunt. We only came away with one axis doe and a rabbit, but it wasn't from lack of animals. Those that were on the doe hunt saw axis bucks and big audad and sika, and those of us on the full exotic hunt saw mostly wt and axis does. I did have a great audad come to feeder the first evening that used his heard as a shield, and an axis doe that just wouldn't cooperate. I couldn't believe the size of the axis bucks our doe hunters were taking pictures of! Funny how we would swap stands to put the full exotic hunters where the bucks were seen then......well I'm sure you can guess what happened. The weather pretty much just stunk with rain and sleet and freezing rain off and on all day Saturday, but we hunted hard through it. As always I cannot say enough about Keith and his hospitality and business ethics, and his friendship. We all had a great time with great friends, and have already booked for the fall. Not sure I can wait that long with the vision of those axis in my mind. Just want to say thanks to Keith, and we appreciate his hard work in tough conditions. Great weekend!

Yall are going to have a blast! No on the hogs. Keith said they have put some kind of regulation on hog transporting due to a type of rabies. There are tons of audad on the junction place. Plenty of axis as well. I did not see a sika but my son had two big sika in front of him. And my brother saw some nice rams but he was looking for an exotic. We also saw some really nice black buck while on the road. The animals are plenty and they are coming to feed really well.
