    Bugscuffle Ranch

I have never been to this ranch. I did however call to try and book a hunt for March and I commend them for telling me that they didn't feel comfortable taking my money because they didn't feel like there would be enough huntable exotics to feel good taking my money. I have read a few posts in other threads about the day leases taking money and not planning on you killing anything, and I would say that proves untrue for this one. I will definitely be doing business with them when they do have a good herd thanks to this. I wish I would have wrote down the ladies name that I talked to a few days ago about this so I could call her out specifically but I didn't.

That is good to know. Sounds like a respectful place and people! Thanks for sharing!

I thought so. I'm sure there are those out there that would have just let me and my group come and spend our money and just chalk it up to bad luck. I was appreciative.

I just got back from Bug Scuffle yesterday and it is an incredible place with a great crew that runs it.

The lady's name is Jay Ann Currie, I couldn't ask for anyone better to work for.

Definitely a great crew. Very enjoyable: abundant game, spectacular terrain and fine folks! Thanks, Brian and Debbie!

Nice avatar pic, Medicine Man. Impressive beast!

So if you found abundant game why wouldn't they have animals come March? Are they just killing them off and not bringing any in as a plan to change the direction of the property?

I will be there next Friday through Sunday for Blackbuck. Can't wait! My son and I were there spring break of this year and killed four rams in four days.

DRT: I was speaking generally. Specifically saw deer and blackbuck, but you would need to contact the ranch about particular exotics you may be interested in hunting. I believe the OP's point is that you can trust what they tell you. I'm vouching that they're good folks in a great setting; furthermore, I plan to go back in the future.

I had a blast when I hunted there a few years ago. Brian aka T-Post was a hoot and a great guy. He made every effort to put everyone on game.

Most of their axis wouldn't be hard horned and I forgot what the other issues were with other animals but I appreciated her being honest about what they would have or even if they do just the chance that they didn't.
