My dad and I are looking for something around the 22-24th, 2 day trip or the whole weekend. We are not looking for anything in particular as far as game but something that we can make a mount out of before I get deployed after college.
We would like to spend $500-600 per person for rifle and would like the trip to be guided since I am still new and he has never hunted before. I am located in Waco and he is in Dallas and would like to do something about 2-3 hours outside either city. We prefer lodging to be included and we'd pay for meals if necessary.
