Scimitar Oryx?

Anyone know where they have a good Oryx, but at a price that won't break the bank?

I've been looking at Bar E...they have some for $1500 + 2 Hogs, that's about the cheapest I've seen.

I was covered up with them at the -E two years ago. One was a monster, horns went way passed his butt and almost touched the ground when he looked up. Was sure hard to pass him up. Thats a good ranch with some real good people.

I've hunted the Bar E before and was able to arrow a good 26" Axis buck. I love Larry and Tina alot. I saw alot of em there too, just didn't know if anyone had a better price. Thanks for the plug!!

$1500 is about as good as you're gonna get.

I got mine for $1000 at the McNutt, but he was a freak that had some breakage.

Paid $1000.00 for on with messed up rack, $1500.00 is a good deal. If you wait a little while prices will probably start to go down.

Sounds like you are looking at the best price. Like to hear the write up on that place. Been looking at them for a couple years just haven't made it there yet.

The Double L has reasonable prices. Not sure what the price of an Oryx is though

$2500 was paid a few years ago for a 42" bull, I arrowed at the Delta P Ranch in Giddings. So, $1500.00 + 2 hogs sounds like a good price. Oryx makes great sausage (summer, link and pan), wish I would have cut some of it into steaks for the grill, but didn't.

Check with Gerald at Mesquite Bowhunting. He does not charge any Trophy Fees, and could probably get what you are looking for. I know he has in the past.
Was ther a couple of weeks ago and I know first hand he has a Great Red Stag that shoudl be ready for the taking come bow season as well as a decent elk and buffalo.
