    chambers hog hunts?

I have planned a trip near the end of Feb. I was wondering if anyone had hunted the 300 acre peice of property they have in Sabinal. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

The place I know of in Sabinal is quite a bit bigger than 300 ac but if it's the same place, you will enjoy the hunt. They have a lot of hogs and the place is managed well. I do know that Sean, the manager, left the ranch but as long as they have continued with what he was doing, you will do fine.

this is a good place for hogs and if you want to see them for sure you will want to hunt on the south west corner of the property by the swamp it is hog heaven

I dont know anything about the 300ac ranch, but I do know that the 760ac ranch is a great place to hunt hogs. The ranch is now up for sale so I don't know how that plays into the hunting but if it is still ran like it was, you will do fine.

No this is the first I've heard of this place. What's it called? I hear a lot of good stuff about his Crystal Creek Ranch in Del Rio.

I have been once and had a blast. It was covered up with pigs when I was there. We killed pigs all over the place. My favorite place to hunt there was over by the big field in the back left corner. They used to bed up in the mesquite just before the field. I like slipping through there mid day and shooting them while they are bedded up.

I have been there i think it is called rancho creek. The place had a lot of hogs, i would take your hog light to night hunt because at night you can walk to the big dry creek and shoot them from there or just any trail at night and they will be there. The hogs even come to the camp house at night. They are very smart and jumpy. If his son is there he will tell you wheres a good place to stick a hog.

Wade is the guy who operates the 300 acre place. Wade was out till 3 AM tracking my 200# boar alone with his Lab. He's OK.
There are some pretty hefty boar on the place. Mine was a medium.
