We just returned from hunting javelina on the Tacubaya Ranch yesterday. Turned out to be one of the best hunts I've been on. Mo was great with booking the hunt and providing information. The price was great. The Casita was extremely comfortable, and literally all you needed to bring was food, your weapon, and clothes. Everything else was provided. I can't say enough about Tony. He would take us out, corn the roads, and pick us up. He absolutely catered to how we preferred to hunt, which was more spot and stalk instead of blind hunting. He was always on time, helpful, and always tried hard to make your hunt go the way you wanted it to. Five of us went, and all five of us got a javelina. The only problem we had been that because of the large amount of recent rain, everything was so green it was sometimes hard to keep the javis on the road long enough to stalk them. After summer and lack of rain we had last year though, I really can't complain about that. Overall, they run a fantastic operation. Without a doubt, we will be back next year, if not sooner.
