Open range ranches....are there any left?

Anyone want to share the names and stories from any open range ranches in Texas? Are there any left? Seems most of these I see listed are high-fenced...not trying to start a debate here, just the sharing of info...thanks!

    Some I know of are:

Irvin Ranch in Coleman (good to fair hunt rating...)
Oran Hills in Lampasas (staw away from...)

There is an open range ranch that no one has mentioned. It is the 4 A Hunting ranch in Rocksprings, Tx (Edwards County). I have never been but I am hearing wonderful things about the ranch and the Owner/Guide Albert.

          Here is the website www.4-ahuntingranch.com

Oh and by the way what should I know about Oran Hills? I was thinking about going there. Let me know asap because I am almost called them this morning before reading this.

I am going to the Heart of Texas ranch over Thanksgiving. It is 4000 acres low fence. I will let you know how it is. There is also the Baker 3 Ranch in Rocksprings.

Check the archives (or search on the name "Oran Hill")....there is enough info out there on him.
