I would like to know who has been out to Matt Family Orchard lately and how long it usually takes to get a call back i call and left a message last week about setting up a hunt and have not heard anything from Mr. Matt.

Cacahuate Bow Hunts !!!!

Just got back from an awsome hunt with Cacahuate Bow Hunts! This operation is ran by a gent name Brandon. you will be taken to a property that is full of free ranch hogs. there is no high fence or stocked game here. This property is located behind a peanut factory and the hogs have flocked here.

Brandon has tree stands but also allows spot and stalk. I arrived in the moring and shoot my first pig on the way to the stand! It was about a 150 pound sow and went straight to the cooler. After that we set up and did some real stalking. It was not long untill we stalked up to a group of about 20 hogs. Brandon allows one meat and one trophy, so I was looking for a big one.

I spooked most of the group but left standing was a 200 pound boar brusier. I took my shot...squeel and he was off. Im not the best tracker in the world but brandon located the boar shortly after.

This was a great hunt and Brandon is an experianced guide. Alot of these days leases stock small little pigs and thats what you have to hunt. This place allows to you the chance to take a trophy hog.
