    Boazman's Quatro B ranch

Has anyone hunted there recently. I am thinking of going around the 25th of October. We will be looking for hogs, blackbuck, and possibly an axis. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Just got back tonight.
    WOW ~~~~

HOGS GALORE ! Popped a nice one a couple hours ago.
every hunter saw them and shot them nightly, great operation and really nice folks to work with out there. Going in Oct would be better,.. the mosquitos right now are crazy bad !
Many hunters shot several in one sitting.

hey tink--- dug up a old post here. NO pix sorry. That hog bled so well for 40yards and then NOTHING. With 4 of us even, we looked for almost an hour and could not recover. I think I hit the hog a bit high and into the scapula.(but not hitting the low spinal cord). Not enough for a double lung penetration.

Since then I have always aimed WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY low, behind the "elbow" area. I want to ensure I smash lung and hopefully heart, staying away from big bone shoulder plates.
The hog I killed at Castro's lease was a victim of my new aiming style. Tight and low,.... going for that lung/heart combo and short track
