So because of a family feud, my two family owned ranches in south Texas are off-limits for the deer season. And being a college student taking up most of my time, it doesnt look like I will be doing much hunting this year. As you can imagine, im having withdrawls. So Im planning on paying for a hunt and after some research I think that the Boone Ranch would best suite me for a two day exotic hunt. I really would like to shoot an axis, but Im sure my trigger finger would get the best of me should a blackbuck or fallow step out before a big old axis does. Anyway, enough of my pitty party, have any of you been here lately or at all? I need to hear some good things to push me over the edge and break out the checkbook! Id appreciate any input you guys may have!

Thats what I wanted to hear! Hopefully there will be some fellow tbh'rs out there who wouldnt mind enjoying the hunt and a cold one with me! How much do you charge for a non-hunter guest? I would call right now but its kind of late and when I start talking hunting I get all pumped so I figured I may as well post it on here

The owner is a friend of mine for many years. He tries to have better than average animals compared to other places. Remember to wait on the gooduns, not the first to show up. Ask if they have moved any stands around recently, on day hunt places, the animals get smart quick to stand locations. I really don't know if they normally move them around or not.
