Thanks a lot guys. I'm still waiting to see if we can do some financial juggling in order to go in November or December. If not then I'll have to wait until July for the rut or next November.

I recently hunted there with my son and a friend of mine took his daughter. They had a great time. My son was able to take his first animal with a bow a nice corsican ram. I read on your first post that you were interested in taking an axis and maybe a ram. A little advise on the ram, there vitals are a little more far forward in the chest area so shoot for the lower shoulder and you should hit near the heart. My son made what I thought was a picture perfect shot at 20 yards tight behind the shoulder just like I told him. That ram ended up going a couple hundred yards and thanks to Keith his staff and wonderfull tracking and bay dogs we were able to chase the ram down and finish him off. But that just added to the excitement of the hunt my son loved that part better than making the shot I think. As for seeing game you should not have a problem, there are plenty of animals to look at Keith will switch you around if you are not seeing much. He really tries to make it a succuessfull hunt for you.

Ok, anyone still interested... I'm going on the week of Nov. 30 through Dec. 3. I've talked with Keith a few times and I've got a great feeling about the man. I will post on the reports thread when I get back. Wish me luck!

bubba1, just curious how your hunt ended up going at Keith Johns??
Anybody else have experience hunting here???
Im looking for a place to kill a nice Axis and/or a nice Blackbuck...
Also, I see he has his rates posted for hunt packages on his website... Is this the price I'd pay even if for some reason I dont harvest an animal???? Is there also a trophy fee?? Just curious to how his pricing works... Thanks

The prices you see on the website are the prices you pay whether you harvest an animal or not and there is no trophy fee.
