Hogs
Our 100 acre place is about 45 minutes east of Dallas near Canton. About 30 acres of deep woods with creekbeds/hog wallows and about 70 acres of fields. We have lots of hogs and have enjoyed hunting them ourselves. They're not a big problem for our farming and we certainly don't "want them gone". They run in big packs of 10-40 sometimes. I've harvested everything from 25lb to 300/400 pounders. We've never leased to hunters but we'd welcome day hunters if someone was interested. We don't have any type of lodging other than primitive camping, but we're so close to Canton and Dallas that may be a cost saver for someone not looking for a huge hunt outfitter.
