Bowmania, I won't give any of my secrets away, only Texas Growns' secrets. I would suggest you scout a lot. Look in out-of-the way places. Try Google maps, Bing maps, and the COE maps. If you were close to the horse trails I would assume the park and walk-in areas, those are good areas. Just move off the trails into the thickets or closer to the lake, hunt off-times and/or hunt later in the season. There will be one less hunter registered for those/that area this year, (and subsequent years) as well.
