The fish are biting and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!

Cool, I have two out there. My wife and I had to bail. Sounds like they have y’all close to the feeders. One of my guys is 40 yds from his. Must be youth blinds or something.

Cell signal is definitely spotty for me. Shot 2 axis does yesterday, first one at 2:30 the second around 4:30 - hoping for more of the same luck today.

The blind must have been set up for a youth in mind because I’m no more than 40 yards to my feeder from the pop-up blind.

Congratulations on the axis. Good table fare.

Kenny and Mike, good luck and shoot straight today.

Hope you brought a sack lunch, and make an all day sit.

Deer are hammering the alfalfa just up the road past Kerrville. Good luck.

Watched a big body buck this morning for awhile. He had one side missing and other side was jacked up. Was thinking of taking him but just keep watching. All of a sudden a descent looking buck came out from my right walking fast til he got to the feeder. All of a sudden he spun around and was broad side and looking at feeder. Thought he was going to bolt. Put it on him and squeezed off a round. He went about 60 yards. The other buck I was watching stood there looking at direction my buck ran for about 10 minutes then walked off in the woods.Click image for larger version

I just had 11 axis walk out. Shot the biggest doe. And Shot another that Was looking at the one I just shot. Knocked her down. But she got up and ran off out of my designated shooting lane. Had a few fawns hanging around that I could have shot. But they weren't in my designated shooting lane. They finally left. And I now have one doe that is bigger than I thought, behind the blind.

Mike, you have to wait till dark to search for the other doe?
