Me and a buddy will be heading to Oklahoma in the morning for a week long Hunt at James Collins WMA. The families will be joining us and camping at robbers cave state park. Looking like it should be a great week of hunting as far as the weather goes. Anybody else plan to be in the area?

Guys he told me it sucked so bad he would never speak of hunting Oklahoma again. He said just keep going north to Kansas.

Years later I’m back with follow
up lol, I’m finally over completely blowing my opportunity at a 150” that caught me trying to move around the tree for a shot. We relocated to some public land on lake Eufala after not having much luck on the stand at James Collins. But did see a couple hammers driving around there. We ended uo leaving with 2 young bucks and a doe. Would definitely go back but hard to stomach the price raise on the license, but seems to be on par with most mid west states now.Comment
