    Trinity River

Got drawn for a muzzy hunt at Trinity River NWR for muzzleloader general deer. Anyone done this hunt? How is the deer quality? I have a Jumping Jack I’m thinking about taking of there is something with a shower and restrooms for camping. If not I’m gonna take the rv. What’s the best campground in the area. It’s almost impossible to find info on this unit. Thanks in advance

Do a search on here, it has been discussed multiple times……

Google map search will give you some RV options. Camping would have to be pretty brave.

Lock everything down, the meth heads and Aryan Brotherhood are more numerous in that area than the deer by multi-fold count.

        …….and, I’m sorry.

Buddy and I were drawn there too. Boars den and briarwood units both. Only going to do one unit though. And you’re right, hardly no info on these places except plenty of hogs

Sad thing is, all these grounds are PRIME habitat.

Like always, mismanagement or lack there of by the govt. has really not done these places justice.
