I think the shot was slightly forward. This is deer #2 with a bow i believe. I have a terrible memory. Anyway the dogs dogs are doing their best impression of Usain bolt right now. It is 1.25 mile hike. I have to get a game cart. Probably 2 hours before I can get back to her.but if she is still there and not half eaten by blood hounds, I believe I will be back next year.

I’d dang sure take a photo of that doe and shot placement before leaving her. Hopefully they’ll understand the circumstances if those pups or coyotes gnaw on her.

It is something exclusive to haggerman comments on my knowledge. You have to shoot a field dressed 60 pound dough in the vital's broadside and has to be checked by the officials at the check in station. If you met all that, then you get a golden ticket to come back and hunt next year.
