They are moving a lot better this afternoon. At 4:00, I had a mature 9 stopped at 30 yards. Nice deer, probably would have gone close to 130, but I couldn’t convince myself to kill him on the first day out here.

About 4:15, two does came through at 20. They were both borderline if they would have met the golden ticket weight limit, so I let them walk.

5 minutes later, bigger doe came down same trail. I gave here the ole “meh”, and it slowed her down enough to send one. Shot looked good. Going to stay in tree until dark and then start looking.

There isnt. Plenty of dollar stores and walmarts.

Sherman has alot of the franchises.. Texas Roadhouse, Chilis, etc..

Staff says 5 deer total so far, 3 bucks. I know there's one more doe from Sandy on the way, so that's 6 deer today.
