800 people get drawn for Laguna Archery out of something like 1500 applicants. It's basically the easiest hunt in the entire state to draw so on average you should draw every 2 years. If you can't go just don't apply to save your points. Odds of drawing w 2 points are extremely high.

Yep, I should have known better. Will hold off an applying to that hunt in the future.

Drew Hag 11/18 - 11/20!

See you there bubba! I am on cloud 9 right now. Ever since starting bow hunting 4 years ago and joining this site, Hagerman seemed to be this fantasy land. Seeing others post their pictures got me totally excited to hunt there one day. Wow! Can't wait.

Just got drawn for Richland Creek Trinity Unit 10/14-10/23. It's a tough hunt but one of my favorite places. I just like sitting in a tree watching hogs and water moccasins all day lol.

Got drawn there 2 years ago but had to leave after 1 day due to family issues. Also got to hunt on the first hunt on standby last year but it was ridiculously hot and nobody got anything as far as I know.

I also drew this one, Hope to meet you there!

Go check out previous threads. My opinion, steep learning curve and super tough hunt but beautiful place with tons of animals. Definitely do your research and buy permethrin.

hope to see ya out there! Need to start scouting soon, I haven't been on those units either. I got to hunt 1 day before it went to tpwd but had to bail on the rest of the hunt due to some family stuff. Stoked to get back out there and it'll be my dad's first time
