I shot a bull and watched it walk out of my life. I hit him square in the chest. Only shot I had. He ran about 500 yds then turned around and looked at me. Then he proceeded to walk over a mile away. Never limped and no blood. But I heard the whack at 18 yds. I did chase a calf for 2 days that someone shot in the face. What a shame to shoot at s calf when there are plenty of cows and bulls there. I know who you are. Poor thing still had the arrow hanging out under its eye. Hopefully someone this weekend will get it. If you need to know where it is I’ll tell you. Just msg me

Calf needs to be put down bad in that scenario. I personally don’t ethically have a problem shooting a calf but if you’re not man enough to do it the right way then don’t take the shot.
Fwiw, I’m hunting with 200 grain day six XL broadheads on a Ravin R29x crossbow. I want as humane a kill as possible.
