I stalked to within 60 yards of 2 really good shooters Wednesday night. I thought I was going to get one down on my first day in the field… so close.

I still hunt a couple of the same properties. But I tend to only spend 3-4 years on a property before I get bored. Unless there is a buck in the pope and young size class to keep me interested, I move on. I don’t connect with a buck that size very often, but if there’s none in the area I can’t ever connect with one anyways.
