South Llano River SP-end of January

I've been really wanting to hunt palo duro something fierce over the years... This year I put in for SLR also. Well, I drew SLR-I'm excited to say the least! Any TBHers going to SLR this season?

I got to meet a tbh’r this morning at orientation. A pleasure to meet you Ron!
I got here yesterday evening- camped here. I was surrounded by a herd of about 30 axis this morning at sunup- very welcoming sight to wake up to! I got second draw- I picked the blind behind the acorn blind near the campsite. Let’s get this show on the road!!

Everyone has opportunities at pigs. This is the last (exotics only) hunt for the season. Im not really keen on booger-ing my spot shooting pigs just yet. I’m holding out for axis or even a sitka. I’ve also seen a couple of wt.
one axis doe has been taken so far.
