I just got selected for the general in the Balcones Canyonlands NWR. Any new insight someone could give me about what to expect. I know what kind of deer are there and that they are super skittish. I actually live right around the corner from the bird sanctuary. Thanks in advance.

The NWR is pretty spread out so I would think you might want to wait until you get your assignment before booking a place.
