Where is a good place at granger to look for hogs?

Read the "official" granger hunting thread in this forum. It has a lot of good information.

The PC area has gotten alot of pressure. Below the dam is OK. Along the creek between #7 and #6 has proven good. But basically, park the truck and start walking.

Are the gates marked out there??? Where is the Primitive Campground on the map posted in the Official Granger Post? That is the only place that I have been.

gates are marked but you got to know where they are....best i can suggest is to go to the ranger station on the dam and ask for the map of the lake...it has all the access points and i believe it also has the PC marked on there as well....

The full color map that I got from the park office at the dam has the PC marked but it's not correct. There is another map printed with the Corp of Engineers logo on it that is colored in shades of red and grayscale that is a little more accurate, but I'm not sure where you can get it, probably the corp office.

PC is on the other side of the creek about half way between #7 and #6 on the maps. There is a trail that comes in from Taylor park to PC.
