So is the Texas Pronghorn tag one of the worst draw odds of anything in North America? I mean a guy who has accumulated 25 years of loyalty points has somewhere south of a .2% chance of drawing. Even bighorn sheep are easier to draw out west(but require much bigger financial commitments to apply).

Correct. Statistically speaking, in many cases you have significantly better odds drawing sheep, goat, or moose tags out west than you do drawing lots of the public hunts here. The odds aren't good for those hunts (.5-3%) in many cases, but they're much higher than the fractions of a percent chance you have with a lot of the hunts here. I looked at the data one year and had better odds to draw a desert sheep tag than a TX public land javelina hunt
Pending 2nd, with 7 points. I have been selected twice before after previously being selected "Pending 2nd" There is hope, but I don't see it happening in this category
I have 24 and my brother 23 for pronghorn were pending 2nd draw
do you get 1 point per year? Not sure how it works so sorry for the potentially dumb question, but does that mean you've put in for 24 years and not been drawn yet?
