My wife enjoys dove hunting and sitting in a deer stand watching stuff but Finally convinced her to try and shoot a javelina or hog. Took her to the Chaparral WMA last weekend and she made me proud. A 110 yd shot off shooting sticks. Dropped him like a hammer.
I’ve been down there multiple times but don’t think I’ve ever been more excited during a hunt there then when she pulled that trigger. Saw a couple hogs too but couldn’t get her close enough to seal the deal.
And of course, we saw a ton of deer and a couple Chap shooters. She said she would maybe be interested in shooting one of those bucks. I just told her yeah me too.....
On another note, I may have to buy “her” a new gun [emoji16]
