Visiting San Antonio Would Love to Hunt Hogs Help

Good morning,

My boyfriend and I have a wedding to go to next Saturday, March 7 in San Antonio. We are driving from Georgia and are looking for a place to bowhunt for hogs that isn't going to break our bank. We have accomodations so we just need the land ;o) I have been bowhunting for about a year but have never hunted hogs (although he has) and we would love to check out Texas hogs while we are in town. We will be in town for hunting on Sunday through Tuesday March 8 - 10 and would love suggestions for where to go that would be affordable or a private party who would let us roam for a hog for some money in exchange. We would be very respectful of your land and leave it exactly the way it was when we got there (no trash, etc.)

There is Granger Ranger Extreme Hunt (GRXH) going on East of Georgetown (2 hours North of SA). Granger WMA need public hunting permit. Plenty of rides down the river to camp or stay the night in Round Rock. Bunch of crazy guys chasing hogs. One rule DO NOT BRING ANYTHING TO EAT ON THE HUNT. There will be beer, trust me. Ph D. level hog hunting for sure. Don't know of anything free or cheap around SA. If there was I'd be there.
