If I ever see one Ill ley yah know and you can tell me "I told yah so" Id love to see a gator out there. Never seen one before anywhere.

Hmmm, there night be something to this. There seems to be enough rough stuff for them to winter in. Alligator Xtreme Hunt anyone?

For those of you that think central TX is too far north, there are gators up to about Little Rock, which is supposed to be the northern limit of their range. I have seen plenty of them in southern Arkansas.
I used to live about a quarter of a mile off of the Guadalupe below Seguin and don't see any reason why they wouldn't be there.

Vaguely ol hard horn....but more elongated and there was a distinct heavy tail drag mark in between the outer tracks in a continuous "S" shape...I'll see if I can get a pic posted that was like the ones I saw for you today sometime...

Here ya go...these pics I found on the net are exactly like those I saw in the bottom of that muddy ditch between stagnant water sections in the far Northeast corner of the government owned land on the North side of the river. I just have never seen anything that resembles these kind of tracks and I don't have any explanation for you other than these are just like those I saw. Draw your own conclusions. Maybe there's a pet that was turned loose, or perhaps they naturally occur (although somewhat rare) like I was told they do in this area.

Maybe that's why Mikey can't catch any fish out there....???

HEY! The guy holding the gator is the head guy at the Office I talked to a couple weeks ago! I recognize the office interior in the background of that pic too. He's a heck of a nice dude, and was the one I was telling you guys about that was so helpful and stuck around way past quittin' time to fill me in on the Granger area. I never did get his name, and am embarrassed I didn't. If you see him tell him Mike (the hunter he talked to a few Fridays back just after 4:30 PM re hog huntin' etcetera) says thanks a million times over! Cool guy. I intend to stop by and say thanks in person as soon as I get a chance. Good info he provided

Bofly...YOU aren't the guy in the pic are you? If it is that would be cool that you're on this site too, lol...okay, bein' a goof now...shaddup Mike, Shaddup...

There are gators in Stillhouse. Just go fishing at night up the river and you will see them. As for Granger I do not spend enough time there but it would not suprise me for a second if there are a few there.

Now that we've kinda agree that there are large toothy reptiles at Granger, has anyone seen any hogs lately? Haven't been out personally, but will be heading out next week to check things out.
