Just went out to granger for my first time, pretty cool place and saw lots of deer and few turkey but no hogs. Like previous post I saw lots of fresh signs.
Went this morning with a no hog result. Watched a young 8pt hooking some saplings and act like he was dogging a doe. And the turkeys were a gobbling their heads off. Was a short trip this morning tho. 3 mile loop in a couple hrs
This cool damp weather would be prime hog stalking conditions. Doubt there will be many out so pushing pigs would be slow. Solo is real tough, tag team is better. Three is best.
Whites still doing well? Been catching quite a few but been about a week and they stop faster than they start. Going Monday assumed but do not want to get wet. Wife might start expecting me to bathe.
The white bass “fisherman” are insane went two days now and they will come right to your shoulder and cast over you

Yep, some ding dongs. It is crowded and popular stretch so I just live with it and stay calm. Walk, maybe get wet, until I find a little spot with some room.
