I hope to be out there this weekend. How's the primitive camp right now? Campable?

Weekend of 10/20 a couple of pads were being camped on. Been drier (relative to rainfall before 10/20) since then so I would say probably. Call the grounds would be my suggestion.
Primative camp was under 6-8 feet of water on 10/20.

Isn't there one in Willis camp? Into the equestrian area? There were two tent campers out there. I know there were tents there, maybe not the primitive area you're referring to.
***Equestrian non-electric***
not the primitive camp. My fault.

Anybody know why there are red tape flags clearly marking a trail of some sort about a quarter mile north east of the canoe launch in san Gabriel? My dad and I stumbled upon them and followed them quite a ways and didn't know what they could be, we thought possibly a hiking trail. Judging by my maps I didn't think we had strayed into private land but you never know and I thought I'd check! They're hanging off of trees and look exactly like the type of ribbon that you see at construction sites marking trees to be chopped down or kept.
