Depends on the boat. Regular prop boats can make it a fair way up the san gabrail, and up Willis Creek, but go through a lot of props. Jet boats, kayaks and canoes: no problem.

Boats make it way easier to get the carcass out.

Well pigs at Granger are a myth. Like crop circles, or a giant midget. And there's no other public land in Texas. So he should probably not buy one. Maybe even consider moving to a different state.
