A buddy of mine shot his second doe Saturday morning behind the dam. Tracked her 800 plus yards. Shot description sounds like lower single lung. She was headed toward emergency spillway. If you happen to stumble across a dead doe let me know.

I shot a pig and couldn't find it last night before dark. May head back right after work to continue the search....my first Granger pig.....dont want it to get away.
Meat still be good after 24/hours???? It's been in the mid 40's.....

Good shooting, strigif0rm3s. I went from 10 to 1 Monday, doing some spot-N-stalk, on the east side of gate 7. No hogs seen, although I did kick up 3 deer, one of which was an un-legal 6 point.

Conditions were fair. Solid overcast, ground was good and damp, so you could move silently off trails. Leaves are dropping, so visibility was good.

Would have liked a stronger breeze, to cover what noise I was making. In the trees the winds were light and variable, so it was hard to consistently hunt upwind.

Better luck next time. I was right, I told my friend " that's Branson's truck" that was park at the bridge.

I saw three hogs total yesterday . My friend shot one but got deflected.
