"OFFICIAL" Granger Hog Hunting Thread

My dad and I might be going out Sunday morning if the weather isn't too bad. We will probably enter at gate #6. Last time I saw a few there. Any suggestions on another good spot to see some pigs? Also, what is the Extreme Hunt?

Went hunting this afternoon with Comehere. We got to gate #6 at 3:45pm and hike to the south side of the blood weeds. We planned how we going to hunt the area and split up. I walked the west side and he took the east side. After walking slow for about 30 yards I noticed a small hog (70-80 pounds) to my right side rooting, I took a 19 yards shot and connects, trailed the blood at the blood weeds for 70 yards but lost the blood trail. I wish I brought my xbow with me it could had been a different story. We continued hunting and shot at another hog but was too low, missed it totally. After that me and Comehere was chasing piglets, they were about 10 pounders but no luck.

Would one of you bring an extra case of beer for me and ill pay you when I get there? I'm backpacking in and it'll be heavy enough without 24 beers. I'll bring whiskey though.........

Me n Jmb512 hunted below dam this morning. He saw a lone boar, no shot. I saw nothing but very fresh hog sign and deer...

Awesome carnage! Crossbow coulda been a head shot but with you recurve that's just awesome. Especially at 19 yards.

There should be a dead pig laying around out there. I wont be there to look for it until after work today. May be 4pm with Comehere .
