Wow! The mythical "Yoga pants" really exhists? I thought she was like Santa and Spider Man. Ruined my dream world. Anyways my son and I will be out chasing hogs in the AM. If anyone wants to link up let me know. Not sure which end we will start at. Radios will be on channel 2.
Drahthaar: Granger used to be much better for mountain bikes when they still had the old style draw hunts. Then, COE kept paths mowed and cleared of treefall so they could drop off hunters at their markers. Now, only a few paths are still passable for bikes. Here is the poor-boy trailer rig I used back then. I already had the hand-truck. With $5 for hardware, I was set.

I know it does not look it, but the bike was amazingly quiet. (or maybe just a non-threatening noise) I saw more deer on that bike than I ever did walking.
A light chain and lock is all I ever used to secure it when I parked it and was walking in the area. Nobody is going to be carrying heavy bolt cutters a half mile from the nearest gate.
Did not hunt from the bike, it was just to get TO the hunting area.

Village, sounds good. Hopefully I will stay clear of the deer hunters. There is a spot by the river my son wants to hit. So not sure if we will park at 6 or 7. Either way should be a good morning moving through jurassic park.
Thanks Dm. Had a good time beating the bush with Village. Saw a few hogs but we were on the wrong side of the bushes to get any shots. Gonna go do an over nighter at the pc after Christmas. Hopefully get on some hogs. But any day chasing hogs at Granger is better than sitting in my recliner getting old. Lol!
