nice pig and perfect shot! take out both lungs and you don't have to do much tracking. congrats to your buddy

Looks like yall were on the south side of the river we were on the other side....two shots taken....on runners...maybe we saw,heard 10 pigs,piglets...was a good morning..

I went out but didn't see any pigs. Saw a few deer. Had my radio but didn't think about it as I was walking. Try again in a couple of weeks.

Where can I find the closed dates for Granger WMA?
Wanting to head out there during the Christmas break to hunt hogs but I know access is closed during the draw hunts.

There aren't anymore draw hunts out there so its open year round! go have some fun and give them hogs hell

I'm new to the forum and new to hog hunting. excited to get out by Granger, been camping/bushcrafting out there for 2 years now (fox bottom primitive); can't believe i didn't bring my longbow with before..... Any other traditional bowhunters?

New to the forum, I'm the other buddy of Village. Thanks for the kind words yall. After some buddies spooked that pig she broadsided me perfectly at about 10 yards and just stopped. Took a double lung and possibly heart. I couldn't have asked it for a better shot.
