A buddy and I walked that area, be sure you bring a nice set of hiking boots for the WC area, because you will be hiking. We walked about 4 miles that day around that area. Hit up Google Maps and you will see what I am talking about. You can use the equestrian trails all around that area.

rabbit
First time poster and hunter at Granger.
I am hoping to get out to the park this weekend to hunt some rabbits with my young son. I don't plan on bringing my beagles, but i do intend to bring a 12g.
My question to you experts, is are there many rabbits in the park, and if so where would the best place to find them?
Thanks
Robert

So, we didnt leave empty handed. A GW snuck up on us as we were cleaning the rabbit. He is on the look out for hunters shootin hogs with shotguns.
