Mournings are good also, but when I hunt the mournings I get out there well before day break and listen for squeeling and movement on there way to bed, cool mournings and overcast weather are good things. I am even thinking about leaving here in a few minutes to hunt below the dam cause its cool and overcast

All should be open again. The Willis Creek ramp was closed for awhile due to low water, but after the big rains in the county last week, the lake came up rapidly. It is now only 2 feet below conservation pool.

Just got in from a hunt this mourning, got out way to early, had to wait in my car for awhile lol for it to even start to get light LOL Shoulds checked weather.com and got what time the sun rose. I saw a group of pigs long the river that were making a heck of a wracket at first light. I tried to make a move on them but they are really spooky, i think I got smelled and the took off. Tried to circle around them but couldnt find them again. There is new sign all over that wasnt there the other night, we need some really cool weather to get them to start moving earlier.
