Same buddy that killed the two bucks and missed a cow earlier in the hunt. He is using a 338 RUM. It’s in a lightweight configuration, shooting around a 200 grain bullet.

What a great weekend that was. After 30miles it came down to the last 15 minutes of light. 1/2 mile from the truck, three bulls crossing a clearing.
Shot the lead bull, he jumped up and kicked, ran into the brush. Searched and searched. Couldn’t find him. Heartbroken. 300 mag 200 grain bullet. These animals are no joke.Comment
