Two years ago my cousin slung an arrow at what he described as the biggest buck he had ever shot at and he's been hunting close to forty years all over the place. He found blood but no deer. Had five guys looking for him at one point. Said he had to pull over on side of the road and throw up because he was so sick about it.

I've tried scents and gone without scent. The only thing I've seen work is a mock scrape I made one year. A buck came and tore it up on camera.

To this day not a deer bigger has been harvested out there.. I remember following year at the Nails meeting - word got brought up on that deer and everyone asked who took it. I sat there like ‘ummm’. Lol.

That deer was hunted hard by many of good hunters out there.
