To hunt Cooper, do you just have to have the annual hunting permit? (as well as hunters ed and license of course). I'm tagged out at LBJ and am trying to a new place to hunt, somewhat close to the metroplex.

Younger bucks are pushing does last weekend but nothing hot and heavy. Saw several groups of does with no bucks around. It's still a week or two away from being full on rut.

My grandsons draw the hunt this coming weekend. Should be a great hunt. Even tho I havent hunted out there in 20 years if we draw the right unit I think we will be OK. We only get an afternoon and all day Sunday.
