Looking at the pic of your ghost blind and you say the doe was watching you I bet if you brushed it in a little she would have never known you were there

That's one of the challenges on this hunt. You aren't allowed to disturb any vegetation. You can't brush in blinds and you can't even use a tree stand from my understanding.

That's correct. Liberal logic at it's finest. You can't disturb the vegetation with a ladder/tree stand or brush in blinds.

YET, they do prescribed burns.

I wasn’t near my blind when I was busted. Out on the open field in a small thicket

We did an all day sit yesterday and saw a good size bull and 5-6 whitetail. 3 of the whitetail came within range but 2 didn't stop. The other was a spike and stopped for a shot but when my buddy drew on it his arrow hung on some brush and opened his mechanical broadhead. I think he did the right thing and did not take the shot. All that happened before 9:30am.

We are setup in a new spot this morning and plan to sit until lunch then do some fishing this afternoon probably. I'm really looking forward to the cooler weather coming in tonight. The wind shift may be good as well.

Had a nilgai running towards me but stopped 90 yrds away couldnt get a shot just a picture. Hopefully this afternoon i get to make an arrow fly. Laguna is kicking my butt right now

As of lunch time today, 8 whitetail and 2 nilgai only. It’s hotter that the devils taint right now so they are laid up for a while. Colder air tomorrow. Animals will die for sure
