Anyone have a Report on the LBJ Grasslands

I am off this week and was thinking about either trying out the new bow or doing a little duck hunting. Can anyone tell me if the ponds have any water and what kind of movement you are seeing for deer/hog/turkey?

any info is much appreciated.

I was out there from Tuesday afternoon thru Saturday morning. The deer are moving for sure, didn't see many ducks though I wasn't looking for them and in all honesty wasn't even hunting that hard!
My little trip out there was just to be out there and not specifically to hunt!
I did do some hiking/scouting/walking around in sections I'd never been in and discovered some fresh scrapes/rubs.
Saw plenty of deer but just didn't have all that much urge to shoot one.

just gat back from a few days up on the greass lands. I have found soem good signs and seen a few deer. I dont have a tree stand to setup so I am having to do a natural blind and stalk type method. Getting close I think
