Hogs on the Trinity

I here people talking about hunting hogs on the Trinity River..where is this going on? I sure would like a "free" hunt with my Dad

from what I understand they have a pretty good range in the area..I have a customer who says he sees them come in on the property from time to time...nothing consistent

Good Luck there is a lot of hogs in them bottoms, but if u can find anywhere on the trinity there will be hogs.

Gus Engeling WMA...another good place for hogs not far from the Richland Creek wma. There is a tributary that runs through it and onto the Trinity River. I grew up there very close and encountered hogs many times while fishing and some nice deer too. Used to be walk in and now may be lottery.

I have wanted to hunt more at Lavon..never did much scouting but I need to. I am booked solid till mid december but then I am game! lemme know. Where do you live? I am about 20 minutes from the 1st hunt area going north on 78 from Wylie
