Hey, can someone please tell me whether or not it is required to have a bowhunters education cert when hunting on LBJ grasslands? I've heard both ways, but would LOVE to actually see it on their website or something. I can't find anything about it. Anyone?

Unfortunately, no. I have that. I keep hearing that i need a bowhunter ed certificate. I have heard this from a few people, but not actually seen it in writing. I do see the courses offered, but nothing about LBJ or caddo.Comment

no. all you need for LBJ is a standard hunting license.Comment

i was just looking on bowhuntered.com and all it said was that texas doesnt require it. Do you know of somewherethat requires it HogDaddy?Comment

You don't need the APH permit for lbj. Just a hunting license. The only state that I know of that requires bow hunter education is Alaska.Originally posted by Fordtough68 View PostComment

If you were going to try to get into Hagerman they require you to have bow hunter ed. But the drawings are already completed for this year...Comment

Required to hunt deer or turkey during an Archery-Only open season. Required to hunt deer at any time in Collin, Dallas, Grayson or Rockwall counties.
