I got drawn for archery mule deer at elephant mountain 11-14 through 11-17. If anyone has done this hunt before, I'd love to pick your brain!

Nice... We hunted there a few years back whenever our Sierra Diablo hunt was canceled because of weather. We saw some nice bucks. we didn't get anything but the guys who did, hunted the water troughs

Hunted there 4 years ago seen some nice deer nothing in range practice shooting at 60 yds or so there were 10 total hunting 1 buck killed beautiful place and rugged

I don't think anybody without a hunting permit is allowed to be out there.

I hunted there back in the 80's, and it was some rugged country. The deer population was pretty sparse, I think eight of us killed one deer. I'm sure that things have changed a little since then. Best of luck to you.
