I've seen 3 deer in 4 trips to LBJ. Fairly uneventful thus far... I do have a descent buck on camera but he's yet to make his daylight appearance. Fingers crossed for the Vine redraw.

Can't arrow a deer sitting in deer camp. 86° out at the vine. Anybody else out?

About time some sign started to appear.

Didn't see any deer but three large coyotes came by at 80 yards. A fox also came by. With all these predators in my area, I'm packing up and moving further west at the vine. I'll be trying the west side of 377 tomorrow.

90 degrees and high winds keep us home this weekend, but i did manage to get groceries and replace a sprinkler valve that was leaking. Small victories.
