Yeah, I guess I need something to help me get away. Heck I still need to clean up my hunting boots that have been sitting out on the patio making a home for spiders and stuff. Part of me just isn't feeling it yet, and I guess it's because I'm starting all this new chapter stuff. Talking to my dad about taking a saturday or 2 and going offshore fishing, and he's showing some interest in hiring a guide to go duck hunting.... but all that is contingent on him actually stopping work on the farm to have fun. So I'm not holding my breath there! Would really like to try hunting outside my known realm. More wing hunting, hopefully a turkey hunt with the blast n cast if they do it again next year, and try to get on some kind of meat run hunt this year if possible. Want to find the guy in Magnolia that offered the thermal hog hunts and try that. Sounds fun. Just having a hard time getting myself geared up for the forest this year. Maybe when it starts to cool off it'll perk me up some more.
