Good work with your Recurve Limbwalker

              Broadhead? 2 blade with bleeders?

Hate to disappoint, but I was cheating on those two.

With an empty freezer and without my honey hole private lease, I wasn't taking any chances. The grocery getter (compound) came out this year. From here out though, I'll be chasing a decent buck with a recurve unless I'm on the NF with my doe permit with a gun in my hand.

I enjoy taking public land deer with traditional gear, and I've been blessed to have done that many of the past 15 years, but when that freezer is empty... Well.

Recurve or compound it doesn't matter.
We know it's hard enough to fill the freezer on Public ground.
I love my stickbows but the compound is my choice for freezer filling also!

                    Congrats again.

Thanks TM. Last year, my Somerville buck came with a longbow and a cedar arrow. I have nothing left to prove, to myself, or anyone else. Now that the freezer is stocked, the recurve will get the rest of the trips this year with the hopes of finding a mature buck. I enjoy shooting trad bows a lot more, but I especially enjoy carrying them in the woods a lot more! Compounds are HEAVY.
