Beaumont "Neches Bottom Unit" Big Thicket National Preserve

Has anyone hunted this area in the recent years? I was thinking about trying it out, just haven't had the time yet to scout it (darn night shift turn around). Just wondering what the terrain is like before I bring the boat up there.
