TPWD Sept 11 Drawn hunt due

My entire family wife and 2 kids got drawn for the Colorado Bend SP Youth GDE. SO excited this is the 1st year my daughter has been old enough. Not sure how we will split up yet. Wife and son and me and my daughter most likely. It will be a cold one and probably not many animals left as the hunt is end of December but should still be fun.

Whoohoo! Just got another! GDE @ Colorado Bend annex. This is 2 years in a row getting drawn GDE.

I don't know about that SP but most of the hunts that I've been on, they tried to keep the hunt parties together. I've seen larger families on some hunts get assigned a larger area.

It appears that the GDE hunts that I put in for haven't been drawn yet or the status page hasn't been updated...either way, it appears that they're just "Coitusing with me" as Penny would say....

Pending 2nd draw for brazos bend. First time to try, but still disappointing when this was your only option. better luck next year.

That is BS if true, standbys are supposed to get to last pick of compartments, if the compartment they want has already been spoken for tuff luck. Only exception is places that put you in specific stand locations, those are random draw for everyone.

When I went on my turkey hunt earlier this year they had quite a few standbys and they were treated as equals.

Same here. Last one is Kerr GDE. I did Archery Exotic down there several years ago. Nice place.
